It's time! It's time! After months of preparation and communicating with the friendly PR team, I'm finally flying tomorrow to Brussels for...Tomorrowland Festival! Lineup includes Avicii, David Guetta, Afrojack, Porter Robinson, NERVO, Zedd, Steve Aoki, The Bloody Beetroots, Sander Van Doorn...and much much more. I'll be mostly doing coverage for KNEON, and I got some pretty sweet interviews with a couple of artists. Do you know any of them?

A couple weeks ago I did a shoot with art direction by Erelle featuring two stunning girls from Wienermodels. All the colourful backdrop you see is spray-painted plants... I guess a moment of silence is appropriate for their shortened life-span after their 15-minutes of graffitied fame.

Isn't the word 'Clog' so funnily shaped and funky sounding? If you really get into it, who thought of that word anyway? It certainly doesn't sound like a Dutch word (not that my knowledge of the language is anything but a limited supply of stereotypical German-like sounds), more like one of those mini gadget pets that you have to feed grow-it-yourself cacti to or whatever. But anyway, my friend Luisa is the designer of a line of beautiful and well-made clogs, and these are my favourite pair. We took some photos last week when we went for icecream in the city. I'm back in Vienna now, and tonight I'm just going to royally chillax, watch some Sex and the City and try to push all the work I have to do to tomorrow. My sister's doing the same with Beauty and the Beast, except her work is the IB-level math homework my mom is setting for her. And the poor baby is only 14. #AsianProblems
Heyhey! As I wrote before, I'm away on retreat from the mountains right now. I haven't had internet all day and practically died, so that's pretty sad. But other than that, I'm perfectly content with my status amongst animals of all sorts right now! Above, you see the cutest cat ever that my sister and I found lurking by the waters. She came to me as soon as I gestured towards her. What a sweetie.
A darling baby coat who belongs to the place we're staying at.
The other night, Madeleine and I went to say a big HBD to the Afromullets crew, who held a birthday bash to celebrate two years of dope music, quality graphics and good old irony. I've been receiving some music education from them lately, and they're such a fun bunch. Hope you guys didn't sweat it too much, it was a success! But yeah, right now I'm on a mountain surrounded by bunnies, lakes and deers with bad internet but seriously good mountain air. My family decided to go on a retreat, and I've basically spent the day hiking, cuddling kitties, bullying my younger sister, and singing Call Me Maybe in the woods with hikers passing every now and then with a worried look. Feels good to get away!

What are you talking about? Of course we didn't take photos with a digital camera through the range finder of an analog one! That's just cheating. But yeah...We did. These were taken at Telaviv beach with Julia.
After my Le Loft post, a lot of you have been requesting more posts like that, where I show you the places I like in Vienna. And I definitely will try to! It's just a matter of whether I have enough arm strength that day to bring my dslr with. Anyway, have a great wednesday!

My morning crank face - hardly in the 'let's crank it up and get the party started like circa 2000 P!nk', more like 'baby sister can you please not shout around like a hoard of elephants at 10am'. But alas, that's how the day started. I put on some jersey and white sneakers and headed out to a favourite cafe. I haven't posted a lot recently because I hardly have any blog-worthy outfits. My legs are scarred up (trophies of good nights out, I like to tell myself) so it's hard for me to wear kind of pants that don't give me balloon ass. But that's ok, comfiness is priority. I like to say anyway, whenever I'm wearing something hovering inbetween artsy-fartsy-hipstery-tart and hobo.
On another less self-depreciating note... KNEON turned 2 years old today!
It's so funny to think that two years ago, the 17 year-old me started this magazine. I never thought too much when I started. Who knew that 'circulation' meant something other than blood flow? And what the hell was a cover letter? All I can say is that was probably the best decision I ever made, and this is something I won't stop doing for a long time. And guess who I have to thank for that? That's right, you.
I remember posting up possible magazine names on this blog and some of you gave your input. I think at some point I was deciding between Nude Lips and KNEON, and some of you liked the first one and I kind of did too. But somehow something happened, and here we are, some two years and couple hours later, and KNEON it is.
There's still so much to learn, creative young people to meet, and an amazing team to build. But it's all out there in the void and I really can't properly describe how excited I am. Thank you all so much for reading and supporting! It means so much. You can scrub the lipstick marks off your cheeks - I promise I won't be offended - but kiss kiss and I love you all.
Hello! I'm a twenty-year-old dumpling from Beijing/Vienna, currently studying History of Art and Chinese Studies at the University of Edinburgh. I run my own independent online magazine, KNEON:
